🌞 We’re Back to Thursday Evenings! 🌿🌞

March 6, 13, 20, 27, 2026

Daylight is back. So are Thursday nights.

Daylight Saving Time is here, which means longer evenings and more light to serve. We’re moving back to our regular Thursday night schedule and continuing the work that keeps Midland neighbors safe at home. 💚

🚫 No dumpster roll-offs at this time, just straightforward, hands-on yard work that makes an immediate difference.

🕔 Meeting Time: 5:45 PM
🕕 Work Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Shared via text after sign-up (varies weekly)
👥 Who Can Serve: Volunteers age 11+ ready to work with purpose 💪

Each Thursday evening, we serve elderly and disabled neighbors who can no longer maintain their yards on their own.

We mow.
We trim.
We clear debris.
We restore dignity, one lawn at a time. 🌱

This isn’t just yard work. It’s safety. It’s respect. It’s community in action.

🧹 The Work

• Grass cutting and edging
• Trimming and shaping
• Debris removal
• General yard restoration

🧰 What We Provide

✔️ All tools and protective gear (PPE)
✔️ Water on-site (bring refillable bottles 💧)
✔️ A hot meal after the work is complete 🍽️
✔️ Credit for volunteer/service hours

No experience necessary. Just show up ready to serve.

🧡 Why It Matters

Many of the neighbors we serve are physically unable to manage their properties. Overgrown yards can pose safety hazards and cause stress.

Your two hours restore more than a lawn, they restore peace of mind.

Momentum matters. Let’s keep going.

⏰ Looking Ahead

We’ll continue Thursday evening cleanups through the season.
Daylight Saving Time will shift again in October 2026, and we’ll adjust as needed to keep serving effectively.

For now, we’ve got sunlight, momentum, and neighbors counting on us. 🌿

Let’s show up.
