Neighbors Eden Project Welcomes Jay Marquez for Youth Service & Mentorship Night

  • Neighbors Eden Project PO BOX 52362 Midland United States (map)

Neighbors Eden Project is honored to welcome Jay Marquez as our guest speaker for an upcoming Youth Service & Mentorship Night on June 11th at the United Way Building in Midland.

Jay Marquez is a longtime Midland community leader, founder of Teen F.L.O.W., and candidate for Midland County Judge. Through decades of leadership, mentorship, and service, Jay has dedicated his life to investing in young people and strengthening families within our community.

Following an evening of volunteer yard restoration work serving elderly and disabled residents, our youth participants will gather for a mentorship session focused on leadership, faith, perseverance, and the importance of walking alongside the next generation with purpose and integrity.

One of the things that resonated most with our team was Jay’s perspective that mentorship is not simply advice — it is “doing life together.” That philosophy closely reflects the heart behind Neighbors Eden Project and the work our volunteers continue to build across Midland.

We are grateful for leaders who are willing to pour into the next generation and help young people recognize their value, potential, and ability to create lasting impact in their communities.
